Gebruik je hoofd, niet je airbag (use your head, not your airbag) is a game developed for Vos & Libert who made a campaign for “de gemeente Drenthe”. In the provinces of Groningen, Drenthe and Friesland 1200 people get injured every year in a car accident. Many of these accidents are being caused by the driver themselves. By not having your full attention to the road, having to change out of your jacket or changing a CD, can be enough to get involved into one of these accidents. Medication and driving while being tired are also two big causes of these car accidents.
“De gemeente Drenthe” wants these accidents to decrease by giving more attention to these accidents and how these accidents can be avoided. For example : Take a break while driving to get your alertness level up.
In this game you drive a car, during this ride you have to pay attention to the other drivers, people who are crossing the road and if your alertness level is still high enough to drive. This game then will let you know if you driving skills are save, or if you need to pay attention to certain things. By sending this game to your friends and family you make a chance to win an anti-skid course on the TT-circuit of Assen.
